Tired.

Fri:
Had outdoor cooking with the boys' brigade. It was terrible having to handle all the kids.. The main officer brought the P6 boys out to Geylang Methodist and I didn't know the normal procedures to outdoor cooking. So, everything was in a mess. Anyway, it turns out disorganised but fine. Very tiring having to walk around and ensure that everything was fine and clearing up the mess. We exceeded our CCA time. So got to bring all the equipments back to the room ourselves without the help of the boys. I must learn to manage my time well (Kids love to ask me lots of questions about God during our devotion time).

After all the sweat and toil, I had dinner at East Coast food centre with a few colleagues. I simply hate the waiting and ungraceful Singaporeans. Nevertheless, we had a great time of fellowshiping and relaxing there. Went to Coffee Bean after that and chatted till 12.30 midnight.

Sat:
Woke up at 6am to get ready for the East Zone sports carnival. Reached there at about 7.20am and ran 2.4km at 7.30am. I took 13+min to complete. Not too bad I thought, consider that I didn't run for a LONG time. It rained as soon as I'd completed my run. Slacked around and waited for other colleagues to complete their walk test then went for lunch with 3 colleagues. Got back home and slept from 1.30pm to 6pm. That was how tired I was.

Then I went out to meet Terry to celebrate his birthday at KBox. Sang till 11.30pm and went for supper till about 12.45 midnight.

Sun:
Woke up at 7.30am and went for the Boys' Brigade service at Chen Li Presbyterian Cburch. After that rushed down to Expo for my own service. After service, went to Popeyes at Singapore Flyer for lunch and I took a cab home. Slept from 3pm till 6pm. I'm seriously worn out.

The late nights and the early rise and shine for the past few days had caused me to feel sick and weak in my body. This morning I felt a sore throat and fever rising. However, after the Holy Communion, I felt better (must be the healing power of God). In addition, the muscle aches from the 2.4km run is telling me that I need a rest badly. From the muscle aches, I am sure that running helps burn the fats in all parts of the body. I am going to start my running regime in the March holidays. Hoping to be trained up for the 10km Adidas Sundown Marathon in May.

This coming week is the last week of Term 1. There are so many things to mark, file, teach, plan and implement. I hope I can last through this last week. The joy of the Lord is my strength!

*Depending on His strength to carry me through.
